Many transphobic women seem to only know two Leslie Feinberg quotes: the one where ze calls hirself ‘female-bodied’ and the one where ze says ze doesn’t mind ppl using any pronouns for hir, as long as they are respectful about it.
And then they apply that to the whole trans community, to the point where I’ve seen (cis) people imply that trans people that have different boundaries or conceptualise their bodies in a different way from this one trans person are ahistorical and wrong.
